SmartLF ivo 6000

The professional system for high-end art reproduction

A professional system for fine art reproduction that allows studios and artists to preserve and translate original works into high-quality editions, prints, and digital versions.

The new standard in fine art reproduction

SmartLF ivo 6000 is contact-free scanning of fine art with no setup, no correction, and repeatable results.

The challenge of high-end art reproduction

Original artworks contain detail, texture, and depth that is difficult to preserve using conventional capture methods. For studios and institutions, this leads to inconsistent reproduction quality, loss of fine detail in prints, time-consuming correction workflows, and limited scalability across projects

A new standard for artwork capture

SmartLF ivo 6000 is designed to capture original artworks with precision, consistency, and care - enabling high-quality reproduction across multiple formats and outputs.

It transforms capture from a technical step into a reliable production foundation.

In fine art reproduction, the pressure is personal. You need a file that stays true to the original, so you are not second guessing color, tone, or texture at approval time.

The goal is confidence from the first scan, less correction before sign off, and results that repeat reliably from scan to scan and print to print.

And then it's about helping artists understand how they can profit from a great reproduction and selling each painting more than once.

Higher confidence, less correction, repeatable results

You are not trying to “scan” faster. You are trying to deliver print faithful files that get approved with confidence. The goal is fewer surprises, fewer edits, and a result that looks right on paper, not only on screen.

Many reprographic studios can reach a good result, but only after heavy setup and correction. Results can vary by operator and by day.

Color needs manual rescue. Texture gets flattened. And each revision round adds time before approval.

If the file needs heavy correction to be trusted, the problem started at capture.

Scan - Repeat graphics from brochure

You need a fully controlled way to digitize fine art

Confidence starts at scan

SmartLF ivo 6000 is built around controlled, repeatable capture. The aim is a file that holds together from the first scan, so approval work becomes lighter and more predictable.

"A straight-forward scan without any kind of adjustment
has given us a quality in reproduction that
we otherwise just can’t get near."

Controlled light, accurate color

Natural daylight spectrum LEDs, uniform illumination, gives a CRI above 98 which supports accurate color. No UV or IR.

Surface detail you can emphasize

Four lamp positions plus a post scan 3D effect let you translate surface sensation into the image.

Repeatability, less operator dependence

Key parameters are on screen, not buried in tabs or drop downs. Save adjustments as presets.

Scanner vs. camera

You could think of a scanner like a camera, but it's more like a fully calibrated studio photography setup with everything fixed in one place - the scanner.

Multiple precision CCD cameras, fixed optics, controlled lighting, and automatic stitching work together to capture flat originals consistently from edge to edge. Compared with high-end DSLR photography, the advantage is no longer creative flexibility - it is repeatability, geometry, even lighting, and automated capture of large flat originals.

So it’s not trying to be a DSLR. It’s doing something a DSLR setup struggles to do consistently: Capture large flat originals in one repeatable workflow.

In scanner-terms, what you get with SmartLF ivo 6000 is:

  • Contact-free scanning to keep the artwork face from touching the scanner
  • The scan module shields off ambient light and gives uniform lighting with no distance fading to the full scan
  • TRI-R® LEDs recreate the natural daylight spectrum, designed for accurate colors
  • 6 CCD cameras capture fine details up to 1200 dpi optical resolution

Color management for print-faithful reproduction

Print approval depends on three things: Tonal depth, texture fidelity, and accurate color translation. SmartLF ivo 6000 supports these with high optical resolution, controlled light, wide color space options, and ICC color management.

  • Color spaces include ProPhoto RGB, Adobe RGB, sRGB and Device RGB

  • ICC color management is open to include own ICC color profiles - or choose one of the included ICC profiles based on advanced IT8-2 (ISO 12641-2), X-Rite ColorChecker SG, and more.

  • Post scan 3D surface effect option to emphasize surface uniqueness

Protect originals, reduce risk

Protection and preservation is the only option. SmartLF ivo 6000 is contact free with 4.9 in (124 mm) safe space above the original, and the light emits no UV or IR.

This means 100% safe handling even for delicate and valuable originals.

When capture is controlled, your workflow calms down

Stop spending time on fixing files and start producing consistent results in bulk. Presets - built-in or your own - help you repeat results across projects and operators.
